How to reach Hundru Waterfall?

If you want to go to Hundru Falls from Ranchi, then you can go from Ranchi Purlia Road via Tata Salve.
The distance of Hundru Falls from Ranchi is about 45 kilometers.

You can also go from Ormanjhi, from there the distance to Hundru Fall is about 22 km.

It will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Ranchi Hundru Falls
While going to Hundru, the first stop will be Tata Sylvi, then Angara, then Getalsud, and then Hundru Falls.
 

The road is very good, you will not have any problem going there. You can plan to go from Ranchi by your private vehicle or even by bike.

If you want to come from Ramgarh, then Hundru Fall 22 will fall from Ormanjhi.

As soon as you reach Hundru Falls, the first thing you will see is the welcome gate of the highway road authority, which means you have now reached the area of Hundru Falls. So get ready to visit Jharkhand's most famous and second-highest waterfall.

On reaching Hundru Falls, you will see the main gate. There is a ticket counter just to the right of the main gate. To go to the fall, you have to go there and take a ticket first. The ticket is Rs 10 for each person. Then here you will also have to pay a parking fe,e which is Rs 12 for two-wheelers, Rs 25 for four-wheelers, and Rs 100 for six-wheelers.

The ticket Counter is just on the right side of the main gate.

After taking the ticket, you will get the entry, and after that, you will park the car first.
There are two views of the waterfall, the up view and the down view.
But the most popular is the down view, where you can see the spectacular water falling from a height of 320 feet.
Now you have to go for the down view of the waterfall, from here your adventure journey of the waterfall will start.

Total 745 Stairs to go to the waterfall

To reach the waterfall, there is a small gate first, after which a long flight of stairs has to be covered. Before going to the fall, keep some food and water with you, because going through the stairs is very tiring.
The number of stairs is around 745, which is too high. if you have  children with you, then there may be a problem with carrying the kids

Is Hundrufall suitable for children and old people?

No, to reach the waterfall, a long distance of stairs has to be covered, which will be very difficult for children or old people to complete, so this waterfall is not suitable for sick people, old people, or children.
But they can see the top view of the waterfall; apart from this, they can also see the green valley surrounding it.
