    Temple: 

    200 years old Shiva temple :

    Ghaghri Dham is a very ancient Shiva temple, which is about 200 years old. From the year 1932, when Rishi Mahatma started coming here, people came to know that there is a Shiva Linga here, and since then, Lord Shiva has been worshipped. People come from far to have darshan of Lord Shiva and seek his blessings.

    Apart from this, there is the Hanuman Temple and the Durga Shakti Temple, which are worshiped by devotees. 

    The way to reach the temple was difficult earlier, but now a bridge has been built through which devotees can easily reach the temple. There is a dense forest around the temple, whose beauty is amazing.

    Durga Temple:

    Next to the main Shiva temple is the Durga temple, in which the magnificent idol of Maa Durga is enshrined and is worshiped by the devotees.

    There is also a Hanuman temple near the temple, in which the idol of Bajrang Bali is sakshaat virajman, where devotees worship.

    Cave of Shesh Nag: 

    There is also a cave of Shesh Nag after going down the rocky path from the temple, where devotees go to visit after worshiping from the Shiva temple. Since the way to the cave goes through huge boulders, you should be extra careful while going there.

    There is a waterfall just behind the temple where you will hear the sound of water falling on the stones. After worshiping in the temple, you can have a thrilling experience of the waterfall.

    But the stones are slippery, so you have to be extra careful while going into the water and you should not go too deep into the water.

    How to reach Ghaghari Dham Waterfall : 

     

    The distance of Ghaghari Dham from Ranchi is about 50 kilometers; it is located in Devgaon of Khunti district, Lipung Praghand. The distance of Dham from Bedo is about 12 km. You will reach there after going 4 to 5 kilometers from the main road through the village road.
    Good connectivity to Dham
    Since the path goes through the forests and there is no road for the villagers, there is no public means to reach the Dham.

    If you want to enjoy the adventure of Ghaghri Dham's waterfall and the natural, mesmerizing view of the forest, then  You can plan to go from Ranchi by your private vehicle.
     

    If you are alone or with two people, then you can also go by bike.

    How to Reach Ghaghari Dham Waterfall from ranchi

    When to go:

     The best time to visit Ghaghri Dham is in the months of December and January as the weather is good at this time, which is a good time for picnics or sightseeing. A fair is held here from 14th to 15th January, which you can go to see.
    In the months of Sawan and Makar Sankranti, there used to be a huge crowd of devotees.

    When not to go: 

    When it is raining during the rainy season, you should avoid going here because at that time the amount of water in the waterfall increases considerably there is a danger of slipping on the stones.

    What are the facilities there: 

    Since this place is in the outer area of the forests, there is nothing much there. The people of the village have set up some small shops where you can buy prasad or water, biscuits, and other cookies.


    What precautions should be taken : 

    The rocks of the waterfall are straight, so one should be very careful while going down from the temple. Apart from this, there is no facility to stay at night, so you should try to leave by 5:00 PM in the evening.

    Sai Mandir, Bedo, Lapung

     

    When you will be returning to Ranchi from Ghaghari Dham, you must visit the Sai Temple at a distance of 7 km from Ghaghari, after traveling for about 15 minutes.
     

    Here, after taking the blessings of Baba Sai in Sai temple, you can roam around in the garde,n which is the center of the main attraction. The peaceful atmosphere of the temple and the flowers of the garden give you a different feeling of peace.
    In the garden, you will get to see different flower bed,s which will fascinate you.
