First thing after merging two disk they go from basic to dynamic, and windows can't run in dynamic drive so C drive must be in third hard disk.
To merge two hard disk drives-0 and drive-01, make a backup of disk-0 which is merged with disk-01. For merge two hard disk steps are Following
Step 1 - Step 1 - Go to THIS PC and right click and Go to > manage
Step 2 - Under Manage, go to Disk Management where we can see all our hard drives
Step 3 - so here we have To delete the contents of Disk-0, right click on Disk-0 and select Delete Volume. After deleting the volume of disk-0 it will be shown as unallocated
Step 4 - Now right click on disk-01 to extend volume, select disk 0 and click on add list and got to next.
After finished we can see both disk as same name with same color.
Both disks were basic before but after merging they become dynamic, windows operating system can't run in dynamic drive so before finishing step-4 a warning show but our windows is installed in disk-2, any change won't affect c drive.
Step 5 - Restart your computer if the merge disk disappeared then again go to disk management and right click on disk 0 and go to import foreign disk and click ok then you can see your merge disk in the pc.
Here some questions may arise in your mind
Qustion 1 - Can it be merged if one is a hard drive and the other is an SSD?
Ans - Yes but the speed will decrease .
Qustion 2 - If the data space is more than one disk, in what order the data will be filled ?
Ans - it will fill first one then after second .
Qustion 3 - Can we merge two drives if one of them has windows installed ?
Ans - No, windows os can't run in dynamic drive, and after merging two disks they go from basic to dynamic.
Qustion 4 - What if two unconnected drives ?
Ans - Create new volume and extend it.
