Ghaghri Dham is a very ancient Shiva temple which is about 200 years old. From the year 1932, when Rishi Mahatma started coming here, then people came to know that there is Shiva Linga here, since then Lord Shiva is being worshipped. People come from far to have darshan of Lord Shiva and seek his blessings.
Apart from this, there is Hanuman Temple and Durga Shakti Temple, which are worshiped by the devotees.
The way to reach the temple was difficult earlier but now a bridge has been built through which devotees can easily reach the temple. There is a dense forest around the temple, whose beauty is amazing.
Durga Temple:
Next to the main Shiva temple is the Durga temple, in which the magnificent idol of Maa Durga is enshrined, and is worshiped by the devotees.
Hanuman Temple:
There is also a Hanuman temple near the temple, in which the idol of Bajrang Bali is sakshaat virajman where devotees worship.
Cave of Shesh Nag:
There is also a cave of Shesh Nag after going down the rocky path from the temple, where devotees go to visit after worshiping from the Shiva temple. Since the way to the cave goes through huge boulders, you should be extra careful while going there.
Waterfall:
There is a waterfall just behind the temple where you will hear the sound of water falling on the stones. After worshiping from the temple, you can have a thrilling experience of the waterfall.
When the water falling from the stones touches your feet, its experience is unforgettable.
But the stones are slippery, so you have to be extra careful while going into the water and you should not go too deep into the water.
Beliefs related to Shiva Linga:
The devotees who go there after worshiping the Shiva Linga embrace them with both hands because it is a belief that if both hands join together then whatever wish, Lord Shiva fulfilled it.
